Focus Studio released the Meisho Optical TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 II interchangeable lens. The Meisho Kogaku TTArtisan AF 35mm f/1.8 II is a large-aperture standard lens for APS-C sensors. It uses an STM (stepping motor) + lead screw type drive system, which allows for smooth and quiet autofocus. It easily captures the decisive moment, and also supports eye AF, subject recognition AF for animals and vehicles, and video recording.
The lens is made up of 10 elements in 7 groups, including two high-refractive index lenses and two ED lenses. By revising the lens configuration from the previous model, it has become more compact while maintaining excellent image quality.
The minimum shooting distance has been reduced from 0.6m in the previous model to 0.4m, allowing you to get closer to the subject and capture the details of everyday items, crafts, and food in clear detail.
The bright F1.8 aperture suppresses noise even in dark scenes such as indoors or night scenes, reducing subject blur and camera shake. It also makes it possible to take advantage of bokeh, which beautifully highlights the subject.
The metal barrel is made of 5052 aviation aluminum, making it lightweight yet durable and providing a high-quality feel.
The angle of view, equivalent to 54mm in full-frame format, has a natural perspective that is close to what we see with our eyes, making it useful in a wide range of scenes, including landscapes, snapshots, and portraits.
