Hollyland will release the groundbreaking 32-bit full-chain wireless microphone system “LARK MAX 2” on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, setting a new standard in professional sound capture.
Integrating five of the game-changing innovations originally announced, including low-latency wireless monitoring, pioneering 32-bit float recording, AI-powered noise cancellation, HoverClip design and Excimer Nano-coating, LARK MAX 2 aims to answer the evolving needs of professional content production in dynamic environments.
Industry-leading audio technology innovation
At the forefront of LARK MAX 2’s advanced features is its low-latency wireless audio monitoring capability, utilizing 2.4GHz frequency-hopping anti-interference technology, which ensures consistent, clear audio with rich dynamics, delivering ultra-low latency of just 20ms (TX to RX).
Additionally, the LARK MAX 2 boasts broadcast-grade lossless audio quality with built-in 32-bit float recording and full link processing, offering long recording times of up to 14 hours.
In addition, the integration of AI noise reduction technology effectively removes unwanted sounds such as wind noise, traffic noise, and room reverberation with a distortion level of less than 1%. In the process, various noise sources are collected, which are then analyzed and identified by the AI algorithm. The depth of noise reduction is finely adjustable, supporting levels up to 25dB without post-processing.
For seamless integration into production workflows, LARK MAX 2 features a built in frame level timecode system that synchronizes video and audio recording via both 3.5mm and UAC outputs.

This ensures perfect alignment of camera footage and internal audio, saving valuable time during post-production. In addition, the innovative 4 transmitters and 1 receiver allow simultaneous use by multiple users, supporting a variety of scenes such as group interviews and live broadcasts. With up to 36 hours of battery life and an operating range of 340m, the LARK MAX 2 ensures uninterrupted, high-quality audio capture.
Lightweight design for improved maneuverability and comfort
Beyond the technological advancements, the LARK MAX 2 has been designed with user comfort and convenience in mind. It is made of skin-friendly materials with an Excimer Nano coating, making it ideal for extended shoots, with minimal discomfort even after extended use. The HoverClip mechanism allows it to be easily attached to clothing while maintaining a low-profile profile and stability.
The back clip design hides the device and maintains a professional appearance when recording, while one-button gain dynamic adjustment simplifies your audio setup and automatically adjusts the output gain according to the volume for smoother recording.
