7Artisans announced the new 27mm F2.8 AF interchangeable lens for the Fujifilm X-mount. 

The 7Artisans 27mm F2.8 AF is a prime lens compatible with APS-C sensors. The lightweight and compact metal body is easy to use and durable, making it easy to carry around for any occasion, from everyday photography to travel.

With a focal length of 27mm (equivalent to 41mm in 35mm), it is said to be useful in a variety of situations, including street snaps and landscape photography.

Compared to conventional DC motors, STM (stepping motor) enables quieter and smoother autofocus. It supports not only normal photography but also eye AF and video recording, allowing you to capture the best moments of your subject.

With a minimum shooting distance of 0.3m, you can take close-up shots of your subject. It is useful not only for still lifes such as small items and flowers, but also for portraits that boldly capture the model’s facial expression. Achieve new expressions with a different angle of view than usual.

With a bright maximum aperture of F2.8, noise is reduced even when shooting indoors or at night in low light conditions, reducing subject and camera shake.

The lens mount surface is equipped with a USB Type-C terminal, and firmware updates are possible by connecting it to a PC with a cable.
