7artisans announced they have released the 24mm F1.8 AF interchangeable lens for Sony E-mount.
The 7Artisans 24mm F1.8 AF is a full-frame autofocus wide-angle prime lens. With its large aperture and bright wide-angle design, it delivers excellent imaging power in a wide range of shooting scenes, including landscapes, snapshots, and video recording.
In addition to the wide-angle 24mm, which is ideal for landscapes, videos, and indoor photography, the brightness of F1.8 allows for excellent image quality even at night or in dark places. Beautiful bokeh can also be achieved by taking advantage of the shallow depth of field.
7Artisans 24mm F1.8 AF Feature
This lens comes equipped with a stepping motor (STM), achieving high-speed and quiet autofocus. It also supports eye detection AF and face recognition functions, so it can capture moving people and subjects quickly and accurately, even in snapshots. It captures the subtleties of facial expressions and the sparkle in the eyes with high precision.
The lens configuration, which uses a wide range of aspherical and ED lenses, faithfully depicts fine details and achieves clear image quality with reduced chromatic aberration and distortion. It also has high resolution that can be used with cameras equipped with high-resolution sensors of 60 million pixels.
By configuring the Fn custom button on the lens barrel from the camera body, you can call up various functions more quickly. It also comes equipped with an AF/MF switch, allowing you to switch operations smoothly and quickly depending on the situation.
The stepless aperture ring with no clicking sensation allows for quiet and smooth aperture adjustment even while shooting video. You can shoot comfortably without worrying about operation sounds or image blur.
The lens mount surface is equipped with a USB Type-C terminal, which allows firmware updates by connecting to a PC with a cable.
