ATOLL is a two-layer rotating ring exclusively for cameras with an evolved L-shaped plate. Conventionally, when changing the orientation of the camera from horizontal to vertical composition, it was usually necessary to readjust the horizontal position and the position of the subject. Also, adjusting the tripod head to a vertical composition sometimes hindered the movement or the orientation of the camera. Now, this new tool makes it so that it is possible to switch to shooting vertically or horizontally with little effort. The center of gravity of the camera does not deviate from the top of the tripod even when the composition is changed to horizontal or vertical.
It is possible for 0°-180° rotation to be freely adjusted by rotating the camera. You can easily fix the angle by simply tightening the screw. Equipped with stoppers at 0°, 90°, and 180°, it is possible to set frequently used angles more quickly. Cameras without a battery grip can be adjusted up to 360 degrees.
Since the ATOLL is mounted on a tripod on the side facing the lens, the center of gravity is stable and you can enjoy comfortable shooting. In addition, since the ATOLL itself is attached to the camera body, it can be operated smoothly without interfering with the lens, as if the ATOLL itself were part of the camera. It is also possible to change lenses while the ATOLL is attached.
