Roland announced the BRIDGE CAST X audio mixer is released. The price listed from the Roland website is $499, and shipments to the United States will begin in February.
One-stop solution for game distribution
While maintaining the high gain microphone preamp, high operability, and sound quality that are characteristic of the BRIDGE CAST series, The BRIDGE CAST X is now equipped with an HDMI input terminal, making it possible to import video and audio from game consoles.
The HDMI input terminals also allows streamers to upgrade their own footage by connecting a high-definition external camera. It also is equipped with a USB-C terminal that allows connection of two systems. It is possible to easily build a “2PC streaming” environment.
On the right, a new pad that can be assigned various functions is also included, making it easy to switch settings, play sound effects, control BGM CAST, and more. What’s more, since you can change the color of each pad’s light, you can assign a color to each function and use it without hesitation.

Can connect professional XLR microphones (dynamic/condenser). Built-in high-performance preamplifier allows you to enjoy conversations and live commentary during game play with clear and dynamic sound. It also supports a headset microphone via the mini headphone terminal.

When streaming a game, a variety of sounds are mixed, including the streamer’s own microphone, voice chat with fellow gamers, game sounds, and background music. With the Roland BRIDGE CAST X, it is possible to adjust the volume balance of each for easy listening. In addition, it is equipped with a dual audio mixer function that allows you to independently adjust the sound that the streamer wants to hear and the sound that is easy for the viewer to hear. High-quality streaming is possible without distorting audio from either the streamer or the video game.
Virtual surround sound
Equipped with a virtual surround function that supports 5.1ch or 7.1ch HDMI audio using Roland’s audio technology. Enjoy three-dimensional, realistic sound with headphones. Using the BRIDGE CAST app, users can further pursue the ideal surround experience by adjusting the angle of the virtual speakers.

BGM CAST
Previously announced was BGM CAST, a service that automatically selects copyright-free BGM according to the mood selected by the user and allows it to continue playing. Users can easily stream videos using a variety of background music and sound effects. This further improves the quality of streams. Additionally, by registering as a free member of the Roland Account, users can use 36 BGM songs and 16 types of sound effects.
