Blackmagic Design has released public beta 3 of DaVinci Resolve 19. It is available for download from the company’s web page .
This version brings further improvements to the DaVinci Resolve 19 public beta, including support for viewing content in the UI when using Windows, allowing high dynamic range images to be viewed correctly without the need for an external HDR monitor.
Blackmagic also improved the performance and control of the Node Stack feature, giving you the option to quickly reset all layers at once instead of just one, and the ability to bypass individual Node Stack layers, giving you greater control over your layers.
This update also brings improvements when using replays on the Cut page. Double-pressing the camera key now runs the selected camera from its in-point, making it faster and more flexible to switch between multiple cameras. Additionally, previous POIs can now be converted into markers for future reference. Also, seeing the distance between the playhead and POIs in the timeline makes it easier to judge replay length.
It also adds support for the DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel, you can check your battery level in the settings section, and DaVinci Resolve Studio updates improve quality, speed and performance for UltraNR noise reduction.
The Music Remixer now works on individual clips as well as all clips in a track for added flexibility, and there’s improved adaptive audio format preview in the Media Pool, Source Viewer and Audio Inspector, allowing playback of up to 36 channels of audio.
Other improvements include the removal of artifacts such as transparent audio and buzzing on complex nested timelines, as well as improved cursor refresh while hovering directly under the playhead while editing.
Additionally, user notifications have been added to prevent accidental deletion when resetting or deleting compositions, as well as general performance and stability improvements.
