Venus Optics announced the beginning of orders for the new “LAOWA 15mm F4.5 0.5x Wide Angle Macro” lens from Friday, June 27, 2025.
The LAOWA 15mm F4.5 0.5x Wide Angle Macro is a new ultra-wide-angle macro lens compatible with full-frame sensors, and is said to combine the dynamic expression that only a wide angle can provide with consistent high image quality from macro to infinity.
In addition to its high optical performance with reduced chromatic aberration, its lightweight and compact design makes it suitable for a wide range of shooting scenes, from landscapes and architecture to close-ups of fine details. It is said to be affordable and highly versatile.
