
SG-Image announced the new autofocus-compatible interchangeable lens “SG-image AF 25mm F1.8”. It will be available in four colors: black, silver, red, and orange. The red and orange colors will be sold exclusively at the 2ndfocus online store and Amazon. The suggested retail price is 25,000 yen including tax.
The SG-image AF 25mm F1.8 is a wide-angle lens exclusively for APS-C cameras that combines an easy-to-use angle of view equivalent to approximately 37.5mm in 35mm format with a large aperture of F1.8. It weighs only about 145g and is a thin and lightweight design with a total length of 32mm, yet it is equipped with a silent and high-speed AF system using an STM (stepping motor). From street snaps to video shooting, it is an “Everywhere Prime” that you can carry around in your pocket at all times.
