InterBEE Walking Tour
This InterBEE Walking Tour will guide guests to experience the video production flow, which has evolved further in recent years. Cloud and AV over IP have become popular as solutions for video production. The following booths at InterBEE showcase some of these technologies, so lets go on this walking tour together.
InterBEE Walking Tour Stop 01: Sakura Eiki
“ALBA e Montaggio”
The new “ALBA e Montaggio” non-linear editing machine is equipped with high-speed and high-precision editing software. This software uses AI to provide efficient editing. It also uses AutoNetworkRender (ANR) technology, which enables editing of high-load projects by linking with other editing machines in the network, and optimizes processing with task allocation.
“Live Collaboration Edit” is also supported, allowing users to share edits in real time on multiple devices. As a result, “ALBA e Montaggio” combines AI technology and network collaboration to achieve efficient and high-quality editing work.
At InterBEE 2023, SakuraEiki will exhibit the production platform “ALBA e Tramonto” and the standalone editing machine “ALBA e Montaggio.”
InterBEE Walking Tour Stop 02: Magewell
“Pro Convert Audio DX”
The “Pro Convert Audio DX” is a Dante-compatible, multi-format IP audio converter/capture device. Equipped with stereo 3.5mm unbalanced input/output and stereo 4.4mm balanced input/output (*4.4mm input/output can be converted to XLR using the included dedicated cable). It support reception and encoding of 8-channel 24-bit Dante streams (multicast or unicast). Can simultaneously receive 4-channel 16-bit SRT/NDI audio streams and encode 4-channel 16-bit Icecast/SRT/NDI audio streams.
Analog or IP-based input channels can be routed and mixed to analog, IP or UAC outputs via a web-based user interface, making it truly versatile.
InterBEE Walking Tour Stop 03: Matrox/Japan Material (#2402)
“ConvertIP” series
A highly flexible encoder/decoder series that enables transition to IP transmission in any environment. This converter mutually converts HDMI, SDI, and HDBaseT video signals to SMPTE ST 2110, JPEG-XS, IPMX, Colibri, etc., and sends and receives them with ultra-low latency via an IP network. It also supports connections of up to 25Gbps, and supports SMPTE ST 2110. It is also possible to deliver uncompressed 4K video via It has a smart housing with a fanless design that also supports PoE+ power supply.
At the booth, we plan to demonstrate SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX video transmission using two ConvertIP units, an SDI compatible model for broadcasting businesses (CIP-DSS) and an HDMI compatible model for Pro AV (CIP-DSH).
InterBEE Walking Tour Stop 04: Netgear
Fully managed switch “M4350 series”
The “M4350” series is developed for ProAV as a higher-end model of the “M4250” series. It features a diverse lineup including 1G to 25G uplinks and 90W PoE++ compatible models. The series is equipped with a simple AV UI that allows settings optimized for transmission methods such as Dante and NDI to be made on the GUI. This allows users without specialized knowledge to easily build an AV over IP system.
In “AV over IP,” which transmits video and audio over an IP network, data such as video, audio, and control coexist on a single switch, realizing flexible system design and expandability, and allowing all workflows to be carried out over an IP network.
