Nextorage Corporation released the 128GB microSD Express memory card G Series EX. Shipments will begin around July 5, 2025. The lineup is as follows:
- NM3A128 (128GB)
- NM3A256 (256GB)
Additionally, 512GB and 1TB versions are scheduled for release this fall.
Nextorage has been developing microSD memory cards compatible with the high-speed microSD Express standard since last year to meet the demand for small, high-speed memory cards in edge AI, high-quality digital imaging, next-generation gaming, advanced industrial applications, and other areas in the digital transformation of society. Nextorage here will release the G Series EX as a microSD Express memory card for gaming devices.
Speed and stability
The microSD Express Memory Card G Series EX is a high-speed memory card that complies with the latest standards established by the SD Association and uses PCIe and NVMe interfaces.
Nextorage has utilized the technology it has cultivated in SSD development to achieve a maximum transfer speed (read) of 810MB/s. With a transfer speed about four times faster than conventional microSD UHS-I memory cards (maximum 200MB/s), it not only enables faster boot times on gaming devices, but also enhances the immersive feeling of open-world games by shortening dungeon loading times.
A diverse lineup of capacities
The lineup includes four capacities ranging from 128GB to a maximum of 1TB to suit your needs. All models achieve a maximum transfer speed of 810MB/s, creating a comfortable gaming environment. The Nintendo Switch 2 has been confirmed to work with the device, so you can use it with confidence.

The G Series has passed the following 10 types of protection durability tests.

- Shock resistance: Drop resistance test from a height of 1.5 m
- Bending resistance: 10 N (Newton) pressure test
- Durability: Over 10,000 insertion/removal cycles
