DJI has released the action camera “Osmo Action 4.” The lineup and sales prices of the official online store are as follows.

Outstanding image quality and color performance

The Osmo Action 4 is designed with excellent image quality and flexibility. With a powerful 1/1.3-inch image sensor, aperture value of f/2.8, and pixel size equivalent to 2.4μm, this camera can shoot 4K 120fps videos. The lens has a 155° ultra-wide-angle field of view. Even in low-light environments, the Osmo Action 4 can capture clear and detailed images.

The image stabilization function 360° HorizonSteady includes functions such as RockSteady 3.0/3.0+, which are perfect for POV shooting, and HorizonBalancing and HorizonSteady, which are suitable for horizontal images.

It also supports 10-bit D-Log M color mode, records 1 billion color information, and has a wide dynamic range for greater flexibility in the post-production process. Whether outdoors, indoors, or underwater, the advanced color temperature sensor reproduces colors exactly as you see them, giving you the feeling of being there, in terms of the image.

Battery performance that can withstand harsh shooting

The DJI Osmo Action 4’s battery provides long-lasting battery life. The recorded battery life is roughly 2.5 hours. In addition, it supports quick charging, and can be charged to 80% in just 18 minutes, minimizing down time between shooting. The Osmo Action 4’s battery is extremely cold-resistant and works well in low-temperature environments. It can shoot for up to 150 minutes even at temperatures as low as -20°C.

The magnetic quick release design allows you to easily switch shooting methods according to the shooting scenario or scene you want to shoot. With the protective frame (horizontal & vertical mounting), you can easily switch to vertical shooting and easily shoot vertical footage without the loss of image quality due to crop editing.

Water-Repellant

With water-repellent touch screens on both the front and back, you can directly adjust parameters, switch modes, and play videos while taking selfies without flipping the camera over. The DJI Osmo Action 4 also supports custom modes and quick switch buttons for seamless switching between shooting modes. Features like snapshots let you never miss a moment, and you can save and use frequently used settings. The Wi-Fi Live Streaming feature allows you to stream live easily and seamlessly using Wi-Fi or from a smartphone’s hotspot. For livestreaming, an external power supply can be used to constantly charge the action camera, and it is possible to avoid situations where the stream is interrupted.
