NAB2024 – NEW from NAB
NANLITE will release three new PavoSlim series of LED panel lights models, the “240B,” “240C,” and “60CL.” The NANLITE PavoSlim will be exhibited at NAB2024, and the new models will release in late May 2024.
The PavoSlim 240B Bi-Color and 240C RGBWW are both 2’x2′ foldable LED panels that boast high output, while the PavoSlim 60CL RGBWW is a 2’x0.5′ slim panel that is ideal for small spaces.
These panels, with accurate color rendering and best-in-class light output, join existing PavoSlim 2’x1′ and 1’x1′ options to form a lineup of instant setup and portable lights that run on AC or battery power.
All PavoSlim models come with a softbox and egg crate. The PavoSlim 60CL comes with a unique quick-erect softbox that compresses in seconds and can be stored on the light for easy transport. The PavoSlim 240B and 240C come with a collapsible softbox for easy installation and removal.
PavoSlim 240B/240C
Both the PavoSlim 240B and 240C feature a folding hinge design for portability and quick setup. The panel is just 2.86cm thick when unfolded, making it slim. The maximum output is 22,990 lux @ 1m (light only 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240B and 24,970 lux @ 1m (light only 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240C.
The PavoSlim 240B/240C supports AC power, DC power, and V-mount batteries, and supports full output with all power methods. The kit comes standard with a 5m DC connection cable. At NAB2024, the NANLITE PavoSlim and its folding capabilities will be on full display, along with all packages and accessories.
PavoSlim 240C uses NANLITE’s advanced RGBWW color mixing technology, and in CCT mode, users can adjust G/M by ±150 from 2700K to 7500K. The average CRI is 96, and the average TLCI is 97. In HSI mode, you can quickly adjust hue, saturation, and light intensity with 36,000 color options. In RGBW mode, you can control four independent channels of red, green, blue, and white for more accurate color reproduction. It also has 151 built-in color gel emulations to match scenes or add atmosphere, so you don’t need to install physical gels. It also has 15 film and TV lighting effects that can be customized by the control unit or remotely.
PavoSlim 240B is a bi-color LED with CCT 2700K-6500K, average CRI 95, and average TLCI 97. It comes with 12 effects that emulate real scene lighting effects.
These features make the PavoSlim 240B and 240C ideal for interviews, small to medium sized studios and demanding film and television productions.
PavoSlim 60CL
The PavoSlim 60CL measures 60.96cm x 15.24cm and has a separate control unit with its own power supply. It is particularly suitable for shooting inside cars, tight spaces, and low ceilings. The practicality of this LED panel is that it is lightweight, so it can be mounted virtually anywhere and even supported on set for long periods of time if needed.
Like the PavoSlim 240C, the 60CL features HSI, RGBW, 151 built-in color gel emulations, 15 film and TV lighting effects, and a Green/Magenta (G/M) shift function for precise matching with other light sources.
With a maximum output of 7,094 Lux @ 1m (light only 5600K), the powerful PavoSlim 60CL offers users a different form factor option with nearly the same output as its sister 1’x1′ PavoSlim 60C. Combined with the included softbox, the PavoSlim 60CL creates a powerful soft light source that illuminates your subject beautifully.
The PavoSlim 60CL can be powered by AC power, V-mount batteries, or NP-F batteries. With full power output from any power supply, the PavoSlim 60CL is suitable for both indoor and outdoor scenes. The kit comes with a 2.6m DC connection cable as standard, and can be extended with an optional 2.6M extension cable if needed.
Advantages of the PavoSlim
Every PavoSlim LED is ideal for location, set and photo studio use. The metal body and thin panel are a sturdy alternative to fragile flexible lights that are more powerful and efficient. The smart design places an optical lens in front of each emitter to maximize performance. This achieves nearly four times the output compared to most comparably sized matte lights. The metal chassis dissipates heat effectively without the need for a fan.
Each PavoSlim consists of a panel and an included control unit, which features physical and remote controls, as well as multiple power options. The control unit is designed to be attached via a quick release plate to the included quick release clamp, allowing it to be mounted on a light stand or truss.
Due to the lighter panel weight, the PavoSlim LED can be mounted on a lighter stand, and the control unit can be clamped to the stand for added stability (a heavy-duty clamp is included with each PavoSlim 60CL and 240C kit). There are 1/4″-20 threaded holes on each corner for adding optional magnetic mounts or other mounting fixtures.
Freely control the light
All PavoSlim LED lights can be controlled by the Control Unit, wired DMX/RDM, NANLITE remote controller, or Nanlink APP. In addition, the PavoSlim 60CL, 60C, 120C, and 240C can also be controlled using Lumenradio CRMX.
Carry bag included
Every PavoSlim light comes with a NANLITE carrying bag. The bag features a sleek design and sturdy construction with reinforced stitching on the exterior for durability. Each bag also features an internal divider for quick and convenient storage.
