GODOX has announced a busy June season of new product announcements, which we will summarize in this article:
GODOX releases “V1 Pro” – a TTL round head flash with auxiliary light component
First, Godox will release the TTL round head flash “V1 Pro” for Canon, Nikon, and Sony, which is equipped with features such as a removable auxiliary light component, from June 14, 2024.
This is a TTL round head type camera flash equipped with a removable auxiliary light component “SU-1 sub-flash.” It is a higher-end model than the current model, the GODOX V1.
When the battery is fully charged, it can flash continuously up to 100 times at full power. The power battery can be charged directly via USB-C (shared with V1Pro and V1). It can be charged without using the cradle-type charger that comes with the conventional V1 product.
The V1Pro is also equipped with a power port for connecting the PB960 flash power pack, providing even greater functionality and mobility (the PB-Cx Canon battery cable is required to connect the PB960, regardless of the TTL-compatible manufacturer).
Manual and TTL modes can be switched with a simple click of a switch.
It supports 2.4GHz wireless transmission and reception, can be seamlessly integrated with other GODOX flashes, and has a built-in LED modeling light that can be adjusted in 10 steps to improve shooting efficiency and variety.
The SU-1 sub-flash and VB30 battery are also available as optional maintenance accessories.
GODOX X3 wireless flash trigger, with minimalist design and touch panel
Godox X3, the small, lightweight, minimalist designed touch panel wireless flash trigger for Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm, will also be available from June 14, 2024.
A small, lightweight, minimalist design wireless flash trigger with a touch panel system. Smart operation allows wireless control of TTL flashes from various manufacturers.
It is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fujifilm TTL systems. The touchscreen has a simple swipe and tap interface. It also has a screen lock function to prevent accidental touches. Like other GODOX flash triggers, it supports TTL and multi-flash modes, as well as HSS, first-curtain sync and second-curtain sync.
The bidirectional TCM function allows you to seamlessly switch between TTL and manual modes instantly and easily, while the robust design, easy installation and camera shoe protection mean you can focus on the shot, without the hassle.
The built-in lithium battery can be quickly charged from 0% to 100% in 2 hours via the USB-C port. The standby and standby time is approximately 7 days.
GODOX “TimoLink TX RX” – a transmission and reception system that enables wireless DMX control
GODOX also announced a series of transmitters and receivers. The wireless DMX transmitter “TimoLink TX” and receiver “Timo Link RX” will be released as well on June 14, 2024. This product enables wireless control of GODOX and other DMX-compatible devices.
The transmitter (TimoLink TX) and receiver (TimoLink RX) for wireless DMX control use Lumenradio’s CRMX module. It can be used with a control range of up to 300m. The 5-pin male XLR connector has a 270° rotation angle, making it convenient for connecting to devices with various interfaces. It is ideal for film and broadcast shooting sites.

By linking it with LED lights equipped with wireless DMX function (GODOX MG1200Bi or TP series), other CRMX compatible devices, and a receiver (TimoLink RX), you can easily create a wireless DMX control environment.

By connecting it to DMX-controlled devices that do not have a wireless module (such as GODOX LED lights: LD, M, TL, and some UL series), it receives signals from the transmitter (TimoLink TX) to create a wireless DMX control environment.
