Sigma decided the release date for the 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and 23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary for Canon RF mount. It is due out on January 23, 2025. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is to be determined. The price is determinant on location. We advise our viewers to check with Sigma’s online store upon release.
Sigma announced previously the popular “16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary” and “23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary” will be available for the Canon RF Mount system. This will allow Canon RF mount system users to enjoy Sigma prime lenses in a native mount.
The AF drive and communication speed have been optimized specifically for Canon RF mount interchangeable lenses, realizing high-speed AF, as well as supporting servo AF and in-body aberration correction. In addition, the dust-proof and weather-resistant construction makes it suitable for a variety of shooting environments.
A mount conversion service to the Canon RF mount will be available from January 23, 2025 for users who own the other mounts “16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary” and “23mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary.”
