PolarPro announced the addition of the LightLeak Lens 50mm to the LightLeak line of lenses. These lenses add a nostalgic vintage feel to digital cameras like film photography.

The LightLeak lens adds rich color, natural grain and light leaks to digital camera images, creating a nostalgic feel reminiscent of old film photography.
Since the October 2024 release of the “28mm” as the first in the lineup, these lenses have been well received as a lens with an unprecedented concept, and now the new “50mm” focal length will begin sales.
LightLeak lenses are manual lenses with a fixed focal length and a fixed aperture of F11, designed to focus from 1 meter to infinity. They replicate the feel of a disposable camera, with approximately 40% of the central frame in focus and no vignetting, keeping light consistent across the entire image frame.
The amount and angle of light leak can be adjusted using the rotating mechanism on the side of the lens, and by intentionally creating light leaks, it adds warmth, spontaneity and individuality to photos, reminiscent of old film photography.
The PolarPro LightLeak 50mm Lens is available in four mounts: Sony E mount, Canon RF mount, Nikon Z mount, and Fujifilm X mount. Each LightLeak lens can also be fitted with a filter, with 67mm filters for the RF mount and Z mount, and 58mm filters for the E mount and X mount.
