Zhongyi Optics announced the Mitakon 55mm f/2.8 1-5X macro lens, compatible with full-frame and medium-format cameras.
This lens combines high magnification from 1x to 5x with excellent image quality, allowing you to capture the microscopic world with unprecedented clarity, and is suitable for a wide range of subjects, from photographing insects and flowers to even closer macro photography.

The optical design of the lens, which consists of 13 elements in 8 groups, minimizes chromatic aberration and achieves vivid and natural color reproduction. It also provides sharp images from edge to edge at any magnification from 1x to 5x, and is compatible with the high resolution of full-frame and medium-format sensors.
Another major feature is the long working distance (distance from the tip of the lens to the subject) of 150mm at 1x magnification and 65mm at 5x magnification, which increases the freedom of lighting and composition and makes complex macro photography easier.

The lens body is made of durable metal and comes with an Arca-Swiss compatible lens support for stable installation. There is also an LED light built into the tip of the lens to help illuminate the subject.
Mitakon 55mm f/2.8 1-5X Compatible Mounts
Compatible mounts include Sony E, Canon RF/EF, Nikon Z/F, Fujifilm GFX/X, L-mount, and Hasselblad XCD, allowing it to perform well with a variety of camera systems.
