Harlow announced the start of orders for their new portable lighting product, the “Harlowe Max Spectra Series.” The lineup includes three models: 40W, 80W, and 120W. Shipping is scheduled for early September 2026.
The Harlowe Max Spectra series employs a 5-channel independent drive system that individually controls RGB, cool white, and warm white. It supports color temperatures from 1700K to 10,000K and 36,000 colors, and maintains the rated output of each model even with highly saturated colors.
Harlowe Max Spectra Main Features
Supports high-saturation colors with 5 independent channel drive.
The Harlowe Max Spectra series employs a 5-channel system that allows for independent control of RGB and cool/warm white.
The lights maintain their rated output even with highly saturated colors, which tend to cause output drops with conventional RGB lights. They cover a color temperature range of 1700K to 10,000K and support 36,000 colors. This will reduce the burden of output adjustment during shooting and color correction in post-production.

80W/120W models include the “Lumina Intensifier Lens”.
The 80W and 120W models come with a “Lumina Intensifier Lens”.
By employing a composite optical lens with a Fresnel structure microarray, the brightness is increased fourfold compared to using a bare bulb. While maintaining uniform light distribution, it extends the illumination distance, making it suitable for environments with strong ambient light or for shooting where the light source is positioned far from the subject.

A “magic lens” that can project optical effects.
The “Magic Kit” includes a “Magic Lens” that allows you to project kaleidoscope-like patterns and optical effects directly onto the subject or background.
It employs a twist-lock mechanism that allows for attachment in approximately one second. Distinctive visual expressions are made easy without the need for rendering or VFX production in post-production.

99.36Wh battery pack with IP65 rating is available.
The included 99.36Wh Max battery pack is IP65 rated and can be used as a DC power source for outdoor and location shooting. It also features dustproof and waterproof capabilities, making it suitable for use in environments with changing weather conditions.

For studio photography, the 40W and 80W models use AC adapters. The 120W model allows the power cable to be connected directly to the base of the light unit, simplifying setup.

Supports both on-device operation and wireless control via Bluetooth.
The unit features a dial, a dedicated mode button, and a display. These functions allow users to adjust brightness, color temperature, and operating mode without using an app. It also has built-in Bluetooth, enabling wireless operation from up to 20 meters away.

Harlowe Max Spectra Kit includes barn doors and frosted domes.
Accessories such as barn doors, a frosted dome, and a honeycomb grid come included, allowing precise adjustments such as adjusting the spread and texture of light. It is also compatible with all accessories for the Max Bi-Color series, allowing integration into existing Harlowe product shooting systems.

Features an aerospace-grade aluminum finish.
The exterior features an aerospace-grade aluminum finish, ensuring rigidity and durability for continuous use on set.
The main body uses synthetic leather, which is common to Harlowe products, achieving a balance between grip and design.
