Sigma will release a new, renewed model of its interchangeable lenses line, the “I Series.”

Silver added to L-mount color variations
All nine I-series L-mount lenses will be available in silver in addition to the existing black color. This new lineup allows users to enjoy the unique colors of the I-series, which are made from machined metal.
In addition, the finish matches the silver and black of the Sigma BF, which was announced at the same time, so you can create a unified shooting system by combining it with the Sigma BF. The Sony E-mount compatible model will be available in black only, as before.
Renewed black exterior
All nine black models in the I Series for L-mount and Sony E-mount have been given new laser engraving on the body and product line badge.

Due to the renewal, the product name has changed.
Sigma 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary now supports magnetic metal cap
With the Sigma 45mm F2.8 DG | Contemporary now compatible with the magnetic metal cap, all models in the I series are now compatible with the same cap.
Consistently high optical performance
There will be no changes to the optical design or the edition number of the product. The company says that customers can enjoy the same imaging performance as before.
