Viltrox announced the new AF 28/4.5 AIR X interchangeable lens for the Fujifilm X Mount. The lens is due to be released on April 11, 2025.
The Viltrox AF28mm F4.5 AIR is designed to be a gold standard in street photography, with a focal length of 28mm, equivalent to approximately 43mm in full frame. Its realistic and detailed perspective capturing both expansive scenes and subtle details gives photographers creative freedom and injects a sense of charm and surprise into street photography.

The Viltrox AF 28mm F4.5 AIR (X-mount) is the lightest and slimmest prime lens from Viltrox.
Even when combined with a Fujifilm X-mount camera, it is easy to operate and boasts excellent portability. Despite its compact lens barrel design, it delivers high image quality and has highly accurate and efficient autofocus. Its sophisticated design, which combines classic and modern styles, is also appealing.
The advanced optical design of six elements in six groups, including two ED lenses and two aspherical (ASPH) lenses, ensures sharp, clear images to every corner of the image.
In addition, it is equipped with a quiet Viltrox VCM motor, providing high-speed and high-precision autofocus, so even beginners can capture the subject’s fleeting expressions and movements.
28mm is a focal length suitable for snapshot photography, offering users a wide range of possibilities for expression. When combined with VLOGCAM, it supports more flexible Vlog shooting.
