Leica Camera announced the upcoming release of the limited edition model of the Leica M11 series, the Leica M11-P Safari, on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
This special edition model continues the tradition of the “Safari” edition that has been around since the 1970s, and its iconic olive green coloring and sophisticated details give it a one-of-a-kind presence.
The striking color scheme of the “Safari” is achieved by carefully carving the top cover out of solid brass and applying a durable matte olive green paint. The leather part of the body is also painted in the same color, creating a texture that feels comfortable in the hand.
In addition, the silver-finished controls and dials create a classy contrast with the olive green body, and discreet silver screws replace the red Leica logo.
The controls on the back of the camera are all stylishly black, and details like the inscriptions “Leica” in cursive and “Leica Camera AG” and “Wetzlar Germany” add a touch of individuality to the Leica M11-P Safari.
Special Edition M11-P
The special edition product also has the same performance and technical specifications as the Leica M11-P and is equipped with advanced technology. The content credential function ensures the authenticity of the content, and the captured images can be given tamper-proof metadata such as the camera model, copyright information, and shooting and editing data.
