DJI today announced the DJI Mavic 4 Pro, a drone that allows you to freely shoot from any angle. This new drone also comes equipped with a new Hasselblad camera. Let’s read about the details in this article.

The DJI Mavic 4 PRO
This new drone comes equipped with a newly developed 100MP Hasselblad sensor and large CMOS dual telephoto camera, an infinity gimbal with 360° rotation, a maximum flight time of 51 minutes, improved omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and HD video transmission of 30km.
“When we released the previous model, it was the first drone to feature a triple camera, allowing content creators to switch between shots with just one tap,” Ferdinand Wolf, Director of Product Experience at DJI, said.
The Mavic 4 Pro’s revolutionary 360° rotating infinity gimbal has been further improved to enable even more shooting options, and the company says it is excited to see how people innovate their filmmaking and take advantage of the cinematic possibilities this technology opens up.

Equipped with an even more advanced triple-lens camera system
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro features a high-performance triple-camera system with focal lengths of 28mm, 70mm, and 168mm, allowing you to capture a wide range of shots, from vast landscapes to close-ups of fine detail. All three cameras feature Dual Native ISO Fusion, seamlessly blending the benefits of high and low ISO. Plus, up to 5 frames RAW stacking, free panorama, and subject focus on all cameras deliver pro-grade image quality.

The Hasselblad Camera
The precisely designed 4/3-inch CMOS Hasselblad camera is equipped with a newly developed 100MP sensor and supports Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) for excellent color reproduction. It captures stunningly beautiful images with 100MP resolution, with clear detail. It also offers unprecedented flexibility in post-production. With a wide aperture range from f/2.0 to f/11, it captures low-noise images even in low light conditions, and can also produce an impressive 10-ray effect.
The 70mm medium telephoto camera with a 48MP 1/1.3″ sensor and f/2.8 aperture delivers improved image quality thanks to a new image processing engine. The 70mm focal length creates a compression effect that emphasizes the subject, making it ideal for dynamic portraits and orbital photography.
With a 50MP 1/1.5″ sensor and a bright f/2.8 aperture, the 168mm telephoto camera utilizes gimbal algorithms optimized for telephoto optics to deliver exceptional image quality and stability even at long distances from the air. Its long focal length significantly reduces the sense of depth, creating a flat composition that makes the subject stand out sharply. Combined with the subject focus function, it also enables smooth, breathtaking close-up shots.

In addition, it is possible to take high-resolution free panoramic shots that capture vast skylines when zoomed out and intricate urban details when zoomed in.
Professional-grade video for everyone
While all three cameras support 4K/60fps HDR video, the Hasselblad main camera has been further enhanced to capture 6K/60fps HDR video and an astounding dynamic range of approximately 16 stops. The mid-telephoto and telephoto cameras have 14 and 13 stops of dynamic range, respectively, allowing for rich detail even in environments with extreme differences in light and dark.
For situations where you want to slow down the action to add dramatic tension and visual impact, the Hasselblad main and mid-telephoto cameras are capable of shooting 4K at 120fps, while the telephoto camera can shoot at 4K at 100fps.
All three cameras support 10-bit D-Log, D-Log M and HLG color profiles, ensuring consistent color reproduction across all captured footage.
Push the limits with the 360° Infinity Gimbal
A first for a DJI drone, the Mavic 4 Pro introduces an innovative gimbal that allows a full 360° rotation and 70° upward shooting for unprecedented angles, allowing you to capture dramatic “Dutch angles” directly from the camera or create smooth, gravity-defying movements that open up new possibilities in aerial storytelling.

Safe in low light
Equipped with six high-performance low-light fisheye sensors and dual processors, the Mavic 4 Pro provides high-resolution environmental awareness, allowing it to fly in all directions and avoid obstacles at speeds of up to 18 m/h even in low-light conditions. Even in canyons and urban areas where satellite signals are difficult to reach, the high-performance vision system can pinpoint the drone’s exact position.
In addition, it utilizes real-time vision positioning and map-building technology to record flight paths in environments with sufficient light, and automatically return home even in conditions where GPS is unavailable.
The Mavic 4 Pro features ActiveTrack 360°, which provides cinematic smooth tracking with high stability even in low light conditions. Once tracking begins, the Mavic 4 Pro will maintain focus even if the subject is standing on a bridge or partially obscured by bushes. It can detect vehicles up to 200m away and accurately determine the direction of travel, enabling professional-quality automotive footage.

Pushing the limits of flight
With its aerodynamic design, efficient propulsion system, and 95Wh battery, the Mavic 4 Pro has a maximum flight time of 51 minutes, a top speed of 90km/h, and a range of 41km, giving users plenty of flight time to confidently operate the drone whether they’re scouting locations, practicing flight maneuvers, shooting time-lapse videos, or taking panoramic photos with a telephoto lens.
The DJI O4+ transmission system, which utilizes next-generation proprietary algorithms, maximizes the performance of the Mavic 4 Pro hardware. This enables ultra-long-distance 10-bit HDR video transmission of up to 30km and significantly reduces the risk of communication dropouts even in environments with a lot of radio interference, such as urban areas.
Introducing a new high-performance transmitter ideal for professional drones
DJI RC Pro 2 is designed to be the companion remote controller to the Mavic 4 Pro, and is designed for professional aerial filmmaking. The bright 7-inch Mini-LED display delivers crystal-clear footage. The rotating screen instantly syncs with the drone’s gimbal and supports portrait mode. It also has an HDMI port.

RC Pro 2’s professional-grade multi-beam high-sensitivity antennas provide extremely reliable video transmission. With a foldable, all-in-one design, the RC Pro 2 screen powers up as soon as you unfold it. In addition, it has up to 4 hours of battery life and 128GB of built-in storage, and can record high-quality audio by working with the built-in microphone or DJI Mic series. From the design to the operating experience, DJI RC Pro 2 is said to be the “ultimate” partner for the Mavic 4 Pro and other DJI camera drones.
Efficient parallel charging keeps your batteries on standby
With a DJI Mavic 240W power adapter, the Mavic 4 Pro’s Parallel Charging Hub can fully charge one battery in approximately 50 minutes, and can also charge three batteries simultaneously via the Mini SDC port.

The Parallel Charging Hub efficiently supplies power by prioritizing charging the battery with the lowest remaining charge. When all three batteries have the same remaining charge, it switches to parallel charging, and all three batteries can be fully charged in about 90 minutes.
By utilizing the stored power of the batteries, the Parallel Charging Hub can also be used as a 100W mobile battery, enabling high-speed charging of smartphones and laptops on-site. In addition, it has a power transfer function that can consolidate the remaining power of multiple batteries into the battery with the most remaining power.
