About the Hasselblad XCD 4/28P
The metal lens features a focus ring engraved with Hasselblad’s “H” pattern, mirroring the design of the XCD series lenses and continuing Hasselblad’s ongoing dedication to detail and craftsmanship. With a minimum focusing distance of 22cm and a magnification of 1:6, this lens is great for snapping photos of flowers and food.
Equipped with a linear stepping motor The XCD 4/28P is a lightweight and compact focusing lens group. Together with the X2D 100C’s PDAF technology, the focusing lens group can quickly reach the in-focus position and stop precisely. The result is fast, accurate and responsive focusing. The lens’ small but powerful leaf shutter supports flash sync shooting at all shutter speeds. Flash synchronization of up to 1/4000 seconds is possible.
Currently, the Hasselblad XCD lens series has two lineups, the V series and the P series. The P series consists of entry-level thin and light lenses that meet the needs of everyday photography. The P-series lenses work in tandem with his X2D to offer even more shooting possibilities for the traveling photographer.
The V series is configured with an emphasis on optical performance and operational experience. It is said that the aperture of the lens is larger, and a more pronounced background blur effect can be obtained. It also features a depth of field scale, a distance scale, a focus ring for switching between autofocus and manual focus, and a customizable control ring. The V series currently includes XCD 2,5/38V, XCD 2,5/55V, and XCD 2,5/90V.
