Sony has released the latest firmware for the Sony Alpha G-master 100-400mm lens, product code “SEL100400GM.” It can be downloaded from the company’s website.
The update details are as follows:
- Supports ILCE-9M3 continuous shooting with AF/AE tracking up to 120 frames/second
- Fixed an issue where autofocus and manual focus would no longer function after setting the camera’s shooting mode to S&Q mode or 4K video mode when updating to Ver.04.
Update Note: When shooting continuously at 60 frames/second or 120 frames/second, the lens aperture value is fixed to the aperture value set for the first frame. By setting the ISO sensitivity setting to AUTO or using the shooting mode in P/A mode, it is possible to achieve appropriate exposure according to changes in subject brightness even during continuous shooting.
