Leofoto announced the Monitor Mount FM Series, a lineup of four products. These mounts are due to be released on August 26, 2024. The lineup is as follows.
- FM-01 NATO Monitor Mount with Clamp
- FM-02 ARRI screw-on monitor mount
- FM-03 Dual-bolt monitor mount
- FM-04 Monitor mount with hot shoe adapter
The Monitor Mount FM series is an adapter for mounting a monitor to a camera cage or rig, and comes in four types to choose from depending on the mounting location. All of them are machined from aluminum and have a durable anodized finish.
The monitor can be attached at two points using a 1/4 inch screw and a guide pin, so there is no need to worry about it coming loose. The guide pin can be hidden when pressed, so it can be used with monitors that do not have a guide pin hole. The range of motion is 180° up and down and 360° left and right, allowing for shooting from a wide range of angles, allowing you to take the shots you want.
In addition, by turning the screw in the center of the main unit with a hex wrench, you can adjust the friction when moving it left and right. The monitor can be attached by turning the screw with your fingers or by tightening it with a hex wrench.
