About the RICOH G900 II
The “RICOH G900 II” is the successor to the popular “RICOH G900. That camera was released in May 2019). It inherits the well-established tough performance, button layout that is easy to operate even while wearing gloves, grip shape that is easy to hook your fingers, and a wide neck strap that can be hung at two points and can also be worn across the body, achieving high operability when taking construction photography.
In addition, it also has a high-quality webcam function that can be connected to a PC, and with the built-in high-intensity variable ring light and close-up shooting function that can shoot from as close as 1 cm during web conferences, it is possible to brightly illuminate even very small parts and objects in your hand and take enlarged photos, which can then be explained and displayed online.
Efficiency and security
The camera supports the digital small blackboard information sharing function and authenticity confirmation advocated by the General Incorporated Association of Construction Management Software Industry Association. By digitizing the work of simultaneously photographing a blackboard on which the project name, type of work, and outline diagram are written in chalk when taking construction photos at the site, it is possible to improve work efficiency and prevent tampering of construction photos. The RICOH G900 II complies with this function, and compared to the conventional method of taking photos using a blackboard, it is possible to greatly improve work efficiency in the advance preparation, construction photography process, and construction photo management process.
This camera is not only suitable for outdoor work in civil engineering, construction, and disaster sites, but it can be used in a wide range of industries. By inheriting the camera lock function that allows for operation restrictions that was popular in previous models, it can be used for a variety of projects. These products can be photography at sites where high security management is required, and in medical institutions and production sites where equipment needs to be cleaned and disinfected.
