AJA Video Systems announced DANTE-12GAM, a new single-channel 12G-SDI Dante audio embedder/disembedder Mini-Converter. Offering the same core functionality as AJA’s previous openGear OG-DANTE-12GAM, DANTE-12GAM streamlines hybrid IP workflows by making it easier to bridge between SDI sources and destinations with embedded audio to/from the Dante audio ecosystem, which enables distribution of multi-channel, low latency high-resolution digital audio across a switched Ethernet network.
AJA will offer hands-on demonstrations of the new DANTE1 2GAM at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show from April 6-9, 2025, at the AJA Booth, SL3310.
About the AJA DANTE 12GAM
Featuring a next-generation enclosure design, including an LCD display with control buttons, DANTE-12GAM can disembed 16 channels of audio in and embed 16 channels of audio out, for up to 32 channels of Dante IP audio. Professionals can extend that capacity to 64 channels via DANTE-12GAM-TR-LC and DANTE-12GAM-TR-BNC, which feature optional LC fiber or BNC SFP transceiver connections respectively.

AJA DANTE-12GAM can be ordered with the LC fiber or additional BNC SFP modules, as DANTE-12GAM-TR-LC and DANTE-12GAM-TR-BNC, which include all the same features as DANTE-12GAM, with double the channel capacity to support up to 64 channels of simultaneous SDI/Dante audio bridging per device.
Pricing and Availability
AJA DANTE-12GAM will be available soon for $2295 US dollars. DANTE-12GAM-TR-LC and DANTE-12GAM-TR-BNC are also available for $2995 US dollars each. A DANTE-12GAM Video SFP post-sale upgrade license can be purchased for $199 USD. FIBERLC-TR-12G SFP and BNC-TR-12G SFP modules are also available for $559 USD each.
