Matthews announced the expansion of its Road line with the launch of RoadBags, durable, fillable sandbags available in three sizes. Matthews RoadBags are designed to meet the demands of production professionals, providing reliable, mobile support on set and on location.
Made from Matthews’ signature black Cordura fabric, the RoadBags are built to withstand the toughest conditions. The interior pockets are lined with a sand-resistant material for maximum durability. Once the pouch is filled with sand, the RoadBags’ double velcro closures create a tight seal to minimize leakage.
Each RoadBag is equipped with a D-ring and secured with durable Matthews brand webbing so the bag can be used as a counterweight or for tall fixture set-ups, and the webbing also doubles as a convenient handle for easy positioning on set.
Available in three sizes, 7kg, 11kg and 16kg, RoadBags are sturdy and versatile, making them ideal for productions that need gear that’s easy to pack and deploy. Designed to pair seamlessly with Matthews’ RoadRags II, RoadFlags II and Trio C+ kits, simply fill with sand and you can use them in a variety of production setups.
