InterBEE Walking Tour Stop 05: Kenko Tokina, Formatt Hitech
“Firecrest Ultra” ND Filter
Format Hitec’s “Firecrest Ultra” ND filter improves abrasion resistance by placing an ND coating surface between Schott B270i white optical glass. “ND peeling” issues seen with general ND filters is less likely to occur, and the neutrality is high. As a result, it has been evaluated to have uniform transmittance for all light rays, including ultraviolet rays, visible light, and infrared rays, and to have little color shift.
The Kenko Tokina booth displays many lenses and filters made by companies other than Format Hitech.
