The 2023 event will attract 1,005 exhibitors and 31,702 visitors from Japan and abroad, approaching the scale of the event before the COVID-19 pandemic. The InterBEE 2024 venue will use seven halls, one larger than the 2023 venue.

“Inter BEE 2024 Venue Tour” for Students
Starting this year, “Inter BEE AWARD” and “INTER BEE CINEMA” have been newly established. The final judging for the INTER BEE AWARD will take place on Wednesday, November 13th at the exhibition hall, with the winners announced and awarded in the evening of the same day. “INTER BEE CINEMA” is a comprehensive area specializing in film shooting techniques and equipment, which will be a first for the event. The venue is planned to be equipped with a full-scale film studio set, and demonstrations and talk sessions will be held with the aim of promoting interaction between filmmakers and the training of young filmmakers.
This year, the exhibition will be divided into four categories: “Pro Audio”, “Video Production/Broadcast Equipment”, “Entertainment/Pro Lighting” and “Media Solutions”. Topics in media and entertainment, which have changed and evolved significantly in recent years, will be covered, including virtual production, IP transmission, remote production and the metaverse.
PRONEWS is also looking forward to welcoming you with many creative projects.
These are the booths you can’t miss this year!
This year, PRONEWS has picked out ways to explore Inter BEE by genre. Six different courses have been prepared, with products and solutions that you cannot miss selected for each course. We have estimated the number of booths that someone with limited time to look around the venue can visit in 2-3 hours. We hope you will use these courses as a reference and enjoy Inter BEE 2024.
- Course A: Camera & Lens Course
This course covers cameras for live production, which are popular this year. ARRI’s “ALEXA 35 Live Multicam” and Canon’s “EOS C400” equipped with essential functions for live use are hot topics. Fujifilm’s HZK14-100mm is equipped with a PL mount and can also be used for live shooting. Be sure to check out the hot new camera products from Nikon, Sony, and Blackmagic Design. - Course B: Camera Accessories Course
This is a course that takes you around booths that are popular for camera accessories. For recorders, pay attention to new products that support 32-bit float recording. TASCAM’s “FR-AV2” is particularly popular among photographers. Be sure to check out the improved gun microphone and affordable optical transmitter. - Course C: Monopod/Tripod Course
This course is literally about the most popular monopods and tripods. In addition to Widendam’s standard “FSB 6 Mk II” and “FSB 8 Mk II”, the 100mm series will also be exhibited. We hope you will actually pick them up and experience the difference in operability and feel. Chinese manufacturers are thriving in the monopod/tripod market. Be sure to check out the SmallRig and YC Onion booths, which are exhibiting monopods and tripods that can be set up with just one-handed lever operation. - Course D: Video Transmission and Distribution Course
A course that considers the transmission and distribution of video signals. It covers the switch from SDI to IP and cloud services. We picked out the most popular booths that exhibited “migration from SDI,” “conversion,” and “distribution,” which are essential for AV over IP. - Course E: Post-production course
This is a course about post-production to improve the quality of images. EIZO will exhibit a new reference monitor. Please see for yourself the high brightness of 1000cd/m2 and the high contrast of 1 million:1. Also noteworthy are the displays of editing systems from various companies that support services such as AI and cloud. In particular, TriCaster plans to exhibit a new product with versatility. - F Course: Lighting Course
This is a course about lighting. LED lights in particular have evolved amazingly every year. There are plenty of things to see, including NANLITE’s FC series’ first full-color LED light “FS-300C,” and Aputure’s BLAIR light engine-equipped “STORM 1200x,” which was developed in pursuit of accurate sunlight and more accurate tungsten light.
