Panasonic Connect unveiled a dance battle stage utilizing KAIROS remote production at their booth at Inter BEE 2024. They demonstrated real-time video production of “breaking,” a sport that attracted a lot of attention at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The breaking stage at Inter BEE was complete with KAIROS set up, with top breaking team KOSE 8ROCKS appeared remotely at the Makuhari venue, while FOUND NATION appeared remotely at Trust Network’s Aomi Studio, demonstrating the KAIROS live broadcasting from multiple venues.

Panasonic KAIROS Features Showcase
Besides the dance battle, there was also a corner showcasing the features and appeal of KAIROS. Dynamic video expression is possible by making full use of the snapshot and macro functions, and the camera can be remotely controlled not only at the Makuhari venue, but also at the Aomi Studio using a joystick.
Furthermore, control for lighting allows KAIROS to turn it on or off. It was also shown that the cameras and lighting at Aomi Studio can be freely controlled from Makuhari. By using the macro function, it is possible to switch the lighting in time with the rhythm of the video while switching between images. All of these operations work with a single operation.
Using conventional broadcasting methods, it would have taken around 20 staff members to create a stage of this scale, but by introducing KAIROS remote production, it was possible to handle it with just seven staff members. Additionally, while previously broadcast vehicles and various equipment were necessary, by utilizing KAIROS remote production, another feature was that it was possible to create new images while keeping costs down.
