Inter BEE 2023
For the first time in four years, FOR-A will exhibit at “InterBEE 2023.” They will have a large booth at Exhibition Hall 5, Booth No. 5412.
With the main theme of “Find Your Next Innovation,” For-A will introduce products in three broad categories: “MoIP Solutions,” “Cloud Solutions,” and “Presentations.”
MoIP solutions include software-defined products, studio sub, file-based production, and network management solutions. Cloud solutions include remote live production that links data centers outside the venue, non-linear editing, and cloud production environments for caption production. They will exhibit a variety of products and solutions that can help save labor and automate production sites. For-A will also exhibit all-in-one products, archive solutions, and imported products.
For-A at InterBee – Cloud Solutions
Remote live production
- Cloud console ceacaa:
The Ceacaa arovides a “console function” that allows users to run caption production and editing applications on the cloud. High-speed screen transfer technology creates a comfortable production environment.- NLE on ceacaa: Non-linear editing is possible on the cloud. Compatible with Adobe PremierePro or EDIUS Cloud.
- Preview on ceacaa: Instantly check the editing screen and preview screen of NLE on ceacaa from a remote location. Detailed editing instructions, instant confirmation, and confirmation of completed materials are now possible using “cloud preview.”
- VWS on ceacaa: Collaborate with the on-premises VWS caption production system within the broadcasting station. Create, proofread, check, and preview captions on the cloud using the same interface and operability as in-house.
- Wasabi collaboration (VGI): Share and edit editing materials with MediaConcierge® in an on-premises environment. This is by using AWS S3 compatible cloud storage provided by Wasabi Technologies, a FOR-A affiliate company.
Collaboration with NTT West Japan Group:
In collaboration with NTT West Japan Group, FOR-A started providing remote editing services from the West Japan area.
- Collaboration with NTT Data Center:
With the cooperation of the NTT West Group, FOR-A products are installed within the data center. By controlling from the Makuhari Messe venue, on-premises and cloud environments can be seamlessly linked. A real demonstration will be done by FOR-A at InterBEE venue.- Portable Video Switcher HVS-190S: 1M/E video switcher that can add NDI input/output using the HVS-NIF base. Mixed use of SDI and NDI is also possible.
- Virtual studio/real-time CG system VRCAM-NX2: Supports SDI input/output and NDI input/output. High-quality Unreal Engine CG can be used as background footage. Up to 4 cameras are supported, and each camera can be linked to a sensor or be used as a virtual camera.
- Character generator EzV-410: Adopts a 1RU rack mount type housing. A character generator that can output 2 HD or 1 4K subtitles in its standard configuration.
- MXF Encoder MXR-350: A turnkey encoder product that saves files with various codecs from 3G/HD-SDI input signals. Can be used for various purposes such as high-quality archives and broadcast recording.
MoIP solutions
Software defined
- Software-defined processor FA-1616: Up to 32 processors compatible.
In addition to the frame synchronizer function and color correction function, necessary functions such as up/down converter and SDR/HDR conversion function can be added with software definition. - Software-defined platform: A software-defined platform that supports SDI and IP.
- Software-defined multi-server MBP-1100VS: A common platform that can be used as a video server, caption sender, and virtual system sender.
Broadcast controller
Broadcast controller software SOM-200: Provides a broadcast controller function that controls mixed environments of SDI and MoIP devices, and a network controller function that performs network bandwidth control/route control in a multivendor environment. Provides a hierarchical RDS function that realizes resource sharing between multiple segments/islands using the NMOS standard.
Studio sub
- Video switcher HVS-6000/6000M: HD video switcher with all inputs and outputs compatible with 12G-SDI and capable of 4K processing in all processes. The same number of inputs, M/Es, and keyers can be used for both 4K (UHD) and HD operations. IP input/output is also available as an option.
Production environment
- File-based total solution MediaConcierge: A file-based total solution that centrally manages workflows from ingest, editing, playout, and archiving. Presents easy-to-use applications for each stage. Can be linked with higher-level systems such as news support systems and OTC systems. It is also possible to store files long-term in conjunction with the cloud storage Wasabi, which handles VGI, and to perform editing operations using the cloud console ceacaa.
- MXF Clip Server MBP-210VS: Can mutually convert MXF files using HD-SDI signals and MPEG2 4:2:2 codec.
- Equipped with a hardware codec, SSD, and redundant power supply for stable operation.

ALL-IN-ONE
- All-in-one live system FMP-1000: 4RU size housing with 1M/E video switcher function supporting NDI input/output, routing switcher function capable of up to 64 inputs and 72 outputs, multi-viewer function, recording/playback, distribution, and storage. Equipped with other various functions
Archive solution
- LTO Server LTS-90: LTO server equipped with a drive that supports the latest LTO-9 tapes. LTO-9 tape’s maximum storage capacity of 18TB (uncompressed) is 1.5 times the LTO-8 tape capacity. Data can be saved at a maximum transfer speed of 300MB/s (2.4Gbps).
Event video playback
- Event player IEP-500/500R: PC-based player that plays video, still images, and audio files. Video can be transmitted quickly, easily, and by anyone at stadiums, events, concert venues, signage, online seminars, etc. Can also be used as a pop-up player.
Imported products
- FOR-A at InterBEE 2023 will show various imported products. Small mobile transmitter Dejero EnGo 3/3s: Reliably transmit video and data from anywhere with superior 5G performance. Equipped with Gateway mode to maximize performance and productivity on the go.
- 4K UHD Compatible Receiver Dejero WayPoint 3: Receiver that simultaneously captures and decodes up to four pieces of data transferred over an IP connection from multiple Dejero transmitters. It also supports the reception of 4K UHD high-quality video. The 1RU size chassis saves valuable rack space in your facility.
Presentation section
Media over IP solutions and cloud solutions that FOR-A is working on. Introducing FOR-A’s next-generation video production environment from both MoIP and cloud perspectives. They will introduce initiatives aimed at a next-generation environment in which various production bases, such as internal/external stations, main station/affiliated stations, broadcasting stations/production companies, broadcasting stations/sport stadiums/event venues, work together.
