PolarPro releases two ND filter sets for the DJI Avata 2

Simmod announced the release of PolarPro DJI Avata 2 FPV drone ND filters, along with ND/PL Filters. These filters are attached directly to the DJI Avata 2 camera.

The first shipment of both filter collections is scheduled to start shipping from early July 2024 (pre-orders are now being accepted). The suggested retail prices are as follows:

Two collections of ND and ND/PL filters (Shutter/Vivid) that are essential for the ultimate FPV footage with the DJI Avata 2. Instead of the traditional aluminum frame PolarPro has used in the past, the plastic frame allows for a more compact and lightweight design that doesn’t affect the flight or camera movement of the Avata 2.

Available in two variations: Shutter Collection and Vivid Collection

Filters for the DJI Avata 2 will be available in two variations: “Shutter Collection” and “Vivid Collection.”

The Shutter Collection is a set of ND filters that control the shutter speed through light reduction to create cinematic images, while the Vivid Collection is a set of ND/PL filters that achieve two effects in one filter: light reduction and polarization to reduce reflections and improve color saturation.

The Shutter Collection comes with ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32, while the Vivid Collection comes with ND4/PL, ND8/PL, ND16/PL, and ND32/PL. Both collections also come with a UV filter for lens protection and a dedicated protective case.

High quality Cinema Series glass

The filter glass, like PolarPro’s other filter series, is made from German-made CinemaSeries glass. This glass features low refractive index, color neutrality, and perfect target transmission. Indeed, it is durable and supports high-quality FPV footage with the Avata 2.
