H&Y Filters JAPAN has released two new colors for the REVORING 67-82mm variable step ring: titanium gray and vintage green. The suggested retail price is 7,880 yen including tax.
The REVORING 67-82mm variable step ring is the most popular of the five sizes currently on sale. With just this one product, you can attach and remove a filter with a filter diameter of 82mm to a lens with a diameter of 67-82mm with one touch, without having to rotate it and screw it in.
The addition of these two colors to the existing black makes it easier to use multiple sets of REVORINGs with lens filters attached, such as separating them by filter type, and also eliminates the need to carry around multiple rings while shooting. It also eliminates the need to purchase all types of lens filters and step-up rings.
REVORING is a variable step-up ring that allows you to attach one filter to various lenses. It debuted in 2020 with 6185% of its crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter.
The structure uses the principle of aperture blades, allowing one filter to be attached to lenses of multiple diameters. Each screw end is designed to overlap, completely eliminating the possibility of light leakage. It is also compatible with sizes that are not commonly available, such as for old lenses.
Since there is no need to rotate the filter while screwing it onto the lens, the filter can be quickly attached and detached from the camera or interchangeable lens.
The lineup includes 37-49mm (for 52mm filters), 46-62mm (for 67mm filters), 52-72mm (for 77mm filters), 67-82mm (for 82mm filters), and 82-95mm (for 95mm filters) for each compatible lens, all of which are available in black. This time, two new colors will be added to the 67-82mm.
