Canon has announced that they will release the EOS R5 Mark II and related products on August 30, 2024. Previously, the camera was scheduled to be released in late August 2024. The confirmed products are as follows:

The EOS R5 Mark II is a full-frame mirrorless camera that enables a wide range of visual expression by significantly improving still image and video performance from the EOS R5 (released in July 2020) through the use of deep learning technology and the newly developed engine system “Accelerated Capture” that enables high-speed analysis and high-speed shooting, which is also installed in the flagship model “EOS R1” (scheduled for release in November 2024).
The camera combines the mobility and shooting performance to cover a wide range of scenes, from still photography of natural landscapes and sports to video shooting for news reporting and film production, and is designed to meet the diverse needs of professional and advanced amateur users.
