IMAGICA Cosmo Space, a group company of IMAGICA GROUP, which plans, produces, shoots, broadcasts and distributes video content including TV shows and corporate PR, has announced that it has developed a multilingual, quiz-style safety education VR content for foreigners, a first in the special civil engineering industry. This content was newly produced at the request of Light Kogyo Co., Ltd., utilizing IMAGICA Cosmo Space’s existing VR content production know-how, and offers a new form of VR safety education.
The first multilingual solution in the special civil engineering industry
The industry’s first safety training VR for foreigners has been localized into English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. By supporting these three languages, in addition to Japanese, which represent the many foreigners working in the construction industry, the company hopes to provide an environment where more people can work safely.
Improve your learning with fun quiz format
In addition to the “danger experience” common in conventional VR content, this content also uses a quiz format. Questions are posed randomly, providing a fun, experiential learning experience that can be repeated.
As of October 2023, there are more than 140,000 foreigners working in the construction industry, a tenfold increase from 2012. The construction industry has recently been facing a major challenge of chronic labor shortages, and providing a safe work environment for foreigners, who are a valuable asset, is essential to realizing a sustainable labor environment for the future. This content utilizes the latest VR technology to create an environment where foreign workers can work with peace of mind.
IMAGICA Cosmospace has developed a multilingual safety education VR content that can be experienced by anyone who wishes, and the company is accepting inquiries.
