TASCAM will begin shipping the “DR-05XP” and “DR-07XP” 32-bit float recording compatible stereo portable recorders worldwide from February 2025. The Japanese release will be on February 15, 2025.

This new product adds features to the conventional portable recorder models “DR-05X” and “DR-07X”, such as 32-bit float recording, a USB Type-C compatible audio interface, and support for microSDXC cards up to 512GB, making it easier to use and enabling distortion-free recording.
The DR-05XP and DR-07XP are lightweight, easy-to-carry, and 32-bit float recording portable recorders that can be easily operated with one hand, making them ideal for a wide range of creators, from musicians, field recording engineers, and video creators to streamers.
Supports 32-bit float recording
It supports 32-bit float recording, allowing you to record high quality sound without distortion without having to finely adjust the input level. It also supports WAV 32-bit float/24-bit/16-bit, 96k/48k/44.1kHz and MP3 formats, allowing you to flexibly select the file format that best suits your needs.
Type-C compatible USB audio interface
It also functions as a 2-input/2-output audio interface compatible with USB Type-C. By connecting it to a PC or iOS device, you can record directly to the PC’s recording software, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, including podcasts and music production, as well as ASMR and live game streaming.

iPhone and DSLR cameras
