About the APUTURE STORM 400x
The Aputure STORM 400x is the next generation of compact and sturdy point source LED light. It is equipped with a BLAIR (Blue-Lime-Amber-Indigo-Red) chip using the same technology as the higher-end models STORM XT52 and STORM 1200x. This allows for more accurate and precise white light, making it ideal for a wide range of productions, from film and commercials to small-scale shoots. It is said to be a new standard for LED lighting, combining high power with a compact body (3.95kg) and control box (3.00kg).
Suitable for a wide range of shooting environments
It is a powerful light source with an output of 400W, and the CCT can be adjusted over a wide range from 2500K to 10000K. This light also supports green/magenta adjustment, allowing you to accurately match the color temperature to the ambient light and the scene.
High power and rich color expression
Thanks to its innovative diode structure and optical design, it achieves a high output of 26,500 lux (5600K) at 1m when equipped with the included 35° reflector. It also covers over 87% of the Rec.709 color gamut and supports stepless dimming from 0.1 to 100%. Its high expressiveness and technical capabilities support creative video production.
Designed to withstand harsh environments
The Aputure STORM 400x is dust-proof and water-resistant to IP65 standards, making it suitable for use in harsh outdoor shooting conditions. In addition, the cooling fan can be set to four modes: Smart/High/Medium/Silent, ensuring quietness and cooling performance according to the scene.
Various operation methods
In addition to the Sidus Link/Sidus Link Pro app, the Aputure STORM 400x also supports LumenRadio CRMX and 16-bit DMX512. A wide range of control methods flexibly accommodates various on-site workflows.

About CF7 Fresnel Barndoor Kit
A compact Bowens mount compatible Fresnel kit for the Aputure STORM 400x also made its debut. The 7-inch (approximately 17.8 cm) diameter Fresnel lens is optimized for the STORM 400x, enabling precise light control. The kit comes with a barn door and carrying case specifically for the Fresnel. The Fresnel body and barn door can be stored smartly, making it convenient to carry around.

About the 5-pin extension cable (7.5m) for STORM 400x
This 7.5m head cable is designed for the STORM 400x. Even when the light is installed in a high place such as a light stand, truss, or rig, the cable can be extended and the control box can be placed in an easy-to-operate location such as on the floor or a stand. By connecting it to the included 3m lamp cable, it can be extended up to 10.5m.
