RØDE Microphones announced three new colors to its pocket-sized “Wireless Micro USB-C” from, including “Red,” “Orange,” and “Blue.” These microphones are scheduled to be released Friday, October 24, 2025.
The RØDE Wireless Micro USB-C is a pocket-sized wireless microphone that allows you to easily record clear audio with your smartphone. The receiver connects directly to your smartphone without any cables. The two transmitters with built-in microphones automatically start up when you remove them from the case and instantly connect to the receiver, allowing you to start recording smoothly.
The Gain Assist function automatically adjusts the input gain to a comfortable listening level, ensuring clear audio in any environment. The included charging case provides up to 21 hours of battery life, making this an easy-to-carry microphone ideal for content creation on smartphones.
In addition to the currently available “black” and “white,” the USB-C type will be available in vibrant new colors “red,” “orange,” and “blue.”
Ultra-compact size that’s easy to carry anywhere
The Wireless Micro is compact enough to fit in your pocket, making it easy to carry when you’re out and about and allowing you to quickly start recording wherever you want. The transmitter is ultra-compact and water-resistant, and is discreet even when worn by the speaker.
The receiver is also very compact and does not get in the way of operation when connected to a smartphone. The transmitter alone can run for 7 hours, and when used with the dedicated charging case, it can run for a total of 21 hours.
No cables, no complexity, just focus on creativity
Simply connect the receiver to your smartphone and remove the transmitter from the case and it will automatically pair, allowing you to start recording whenever you want. The transmitter comes with a clip that can be attached to the collar of your clothing, and a magnetic attachment that allows it to be attached to places that are difficult to attach with a clip, making it easy to set up for recording.
Easily capture clear sound at all times
It features a high-quality built-in microphone and a patent-pending design that is designed to capture extremely clear, high-resolution audio while reducing wind noise and plosives. It also features a gain assist function that automatically adjusts the input gain to an appropriate level, ensuring clear audio capture without the need for detailed settings.
Using compatible RØDE apps such as RØDE Central, you can adjust the output gain to your smartphone in three stages, select merge mode to combine the outputs from two transmitters into one recording or split mode to record each transmitter output on separate left and right channels, and adjust the LED intensity on the transmitter and receiver.
Easily create engaging content with RØDE Capture
RØDE Capture is a free iOS video app designed for creators. It can record videos using the main camera or front camera alone, as well as in “dual camera mode” using both the main camera and front camera simultaneously.
Direct Connect
A firmware update in May of this year made it possible to pair directly with iOS devices via Bluetooth via RØDE Capture, allowing for clear audio recording without connecting a receiver (RX) to a smartphone.
