Ilford began sales of the 35mm film camera, the “ILFORD PIXIE 35-II” from Friday, October 17, 2025.
This new affordable camera allows you to manually control the aperture and focus, giving you more freedom to enjoy film photography. The ILFORD PIXIE 35-II arrives fully assembled so you can use it right away. Ilford sold various types of cameras from 1902 to 1967. This product inherits the name of the “ILFORD PIXIE” that was released in 1966. The “ILFORD PIXIE” was a simple plastic camera that used 127 film and had a two-stage aperture setting.
The ILFORD SPRITE 35-II, which was released in 2021 after a long hiatus, has been praised for its simple operability and economy, making it a long-selling product with cumulative shipments of over 180,000 units.
