H&Y EVO Series 86mm ND Kit Released

H&Y Filters released the “EVO Series Landscape ND Kit 86mm.”

This is a new kit product from the “EVO Series” ND filter, which offers two attachment methods: magnetic mode (magnetic attachment/detachment) and screw mode (traditional screw-in method). The set includes three filters: ND8 (3-stop dimming), ND64 (6-stop dimming), and ND1000 (10-stop dimming), covering a wide range of applications from slow shutter speeds to long exposures in landscape photography.

In addition to being compatible with standard 86mm interchangeable lenses (such as the Sony FE 28-70mm F2 GM), it can also be attached to the front magnetic frame (equivalent to a diameter of 86mm) of the Nova Series Variable ND3-32 + CPL Filter Kit 82mm, which was released on November 7, 2025.

H&Y EVO Series Now Available in 86mm

The filter design works with “Screw-in Mode:” screwing it directly onto the lens without an adapter ring. Additionally, it works in “Magnetic Mode” through using the included magnetic lens adapter “ELA.” This allows for instant attachment, detachment, and replacement. It also comes compatible with existing H&Y magnetic filters, allowing for interchange and stacking with various magnetic filters, and the use of step-up rings.

The neutral ND coating means you can use it without worrying about color shifts. HD technology ensures high flatness and resolution. The low-reflection nano-coating minimizes flare and ghosting, even in scenes with strong light sources.

The Nano coating provides water repellency, dirt resistance, and scratch resistance, making it easy to maintain and allowing for long-term use of the filter. The frame uses a strong permanent magnet and made of A6063 aluminum. This material is strong and corrosion-resistant.

Lens cap construction of all-metal (machined) with a slim design, and the filter case is lightweight, soft type that is easy to carry.
