LAOWA announced the start of orders for the Probe Zoom 15-24mm T8 Macro (Direct/Periscope/35°/90°) and LAOWA Probe Zoom 15-35mm T12 Macro (Direct/Periscope/35°/90°) probe zoom lenses. These lenses enable innovative imaging expression with a 2.3x macro magnification. The product is expected to take approximately one month from order to delivery.

Four types of front modules that express different perspectives

- 35° View: Capture high and low angles without tilting the camera body
- 90° View: Even with limited camera positioning, you can flexibly create unique horizontal and vertical compositions.
- Periscope view: The periscope-like lens shape allows for perspectives at different heights parallel to the camera’s optical axis, enabling shooting from angles that are physically difficult with a regular lens, such as close to the ground or ceiling.
LAOWA Probe Zoom Series overview
The LAOWA Probe Zoom series is the widest-angle probe zoom lens on the market today, created through advanced optical design to achieve unique and immersive perspectives that are difficult to achieve with conventional probe lenses or zoom lenses.
In particular, the 15-35mm model boasts a 2.3x zoom ratio, the largest in its class, and the longest lens barrel in the series, providing flexibility and expressive power for underwater photography and creative filmmaking.
Compatible with full-frame formats, the lens combines an ultra-wide focal length of 15mm with an extremely short working distance of just 5mm, ensuring the capture of details that were previously impossible with conventional lenses.
Equipped with a waterproof long barrel, a maximum 2.3x macro magnification (15-35mm T12 Macro), four view modules, and a 360° rotation mechanism, it can flexibly adapt to challenging shooting environments such as tight spaces, underwater, and unusual angles, demonstrating excellent performance in a wide range of fields, including commercial filmmaking, wildlife documentaries, and cinematography.
LAOWA Probe Zoom Macro combines the variability of a zoom lens with the immersive perspective of a probe lens, making it a next-generation cinema lens that will greatly expand the possibilities of visual expression.
