At NAB Show 2026 (Booth: C5816), Rycote will showcase its range of location sound solutions, focusing on advanced wind protection, high-precision microphones, and modular audio workflows.
Leading the lineup is Rycote’s next-generation windshield system, “Nano Shield,” designed to combine high wind protection with excellent sound transmission. Designed for fast-paced production environments, its lightweight, tool-free, and compact construction helps boom operators and location sound recorders work more efficiently without compromising sound quality, even in harsh environments.
Rycote also plans on showcasing a lineup of professional microphones developed for capturing natural and consistent audio. With low self-noise and consistent sound characteristics, these microphones are ideal for a variety of recording scenarios. The lineup, suitable for broadcast, film, and studio applications, reflects their continued emphasis on clarity, control, and reliability in critical recording situations.
Complementing these are Rycote’s modular windshield systems and lavalier microphone solutions. These offer flexible mounting options and wind protection choices for both boom microphones and body-wearable microphones. Designed with adaptability in mind, these systems are compatible with a wide range of microphones and production environments, ensuring reliable performance in diverse production settings.
At NAB, Rycote will also introduce a new partnership with Remote Audio as its leading distributor in the U.S., strengthening its presence and customer support in the region. Remote Audio representatives will be stationed at the booth alongside Rycote experts to provide visitors with expert advice, product insights, and local market knowledge.
