DJI announced the Osmo Mobile 8P, featuring further enhanced framing and tracking capabilities.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P features a new detachable “Osmo FrameTap remote control.” This remote allows for precise selfie shooting with remote control, while checking and adjusting the composition. Meanwhile, the enhanced tracking function “ActiveTrack 8.0” keeps the subject in frame even in complex crowds, demonstrating superior tracking performance.
Furthermore, by using the “Apple DockKit,” you can connect your iPhone directly to the Osmo Mobile 8P and perform tracking using the smartphone’s standard camera app.

The newly added detachable remote control, “Osmo FrameTap,” allows you to take selfies with the rear camera and control shooting from a distance, enabling you to capture high-quality footage with your preferred composition. This remote control has a screen that can mirror the image from your smartphone or the “Multifunction Module 2” of the Osmo Mobile 8P.
