This new silver model features an elegant finish that takes advantage of the unique texture of the metal lens barrel. It blends naturally with everything from classic-style camera bodies to modern mirrorless cameras. With its natural 35mm field of view and bright f/2.2 aperture, it is said to be useful in a wide range of situations, such as street walks, travel, cafes, and street photography.

35mm offers a balanced focal length that’s neither too wide nor too narrow, making it ideal for capturing landscapes, portraits, and still-life photos. It’s easy to use even for beginners, allowing you to enjoy a nicely blurred background while minimizing the burden of carrying a large lens, and effortlessly capture beautiful everyday moments.

The lens barrel is made of metal, achieving both lightweight portability and a high-quality feel. The Japanese domestic model includes a lens hood and lens hood cap, which are sold separately on overseas models. It is recommended as both a first prime lens and a secondary lens for everyday use.
