Panasonic Corporation announced the upcoming release of four new LUMIX lenses, in the S-Series and G-Series. The release of these four new lenses comes September 17, 2026.
The “S-R70200A” telephoto zoom lens works for L-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, and the “H-ES12060A” standard zoom lens, the “H-XA025A” standard prime lens, and the “H-HS043A” medium telephoto prime lens for micro four-thirds mirrorless cameras.
The full lineup of these new Lumix S-Series and G-Series lenses is as follows:
- LUMIX S PRO 70-200mm F4 OIS (S-R70200A)
- LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT 12-60mm/F2.8-4.0 ASPH./POWER OIS (H-ES12060A)
- LEICA DG SUMMILUX 25mm/F1.4 II ASPH. (H-XA025A)
- LUMIX G 42.5mm/F1.7 ASPH./POWER OIS (H-HS043A)
All lenses feature a fluorine coating on the front element, making it easy to remove dirt from the lens surface. Furthermore, to minimize reflections of the lens nameplate during shooting, the S-R70200A and H-ES12060A use engraved markings, while the H-XA025A and H-HS043A use gray lettering on the nameplate.
