Insta360 released the Luna Pro, a single-lens gimbal camera in the Luna series, which was developed in collaboration with Leica.
Luna Pro supports 8K Dolby Vision video, up to 4x high-resolution zoom, 4K vertical video, and AI-powered editing functions, making it suitable for a wide range of uses, from everyday shooting to creative production.

The new Luna Pro combines a Leica Summicron lens with a 20mm equivalent f/1.8 aperture (35mm format) and a 1-inch 8K sensor, enabling shooting in low-light environments.
The Insta360 Luna Pro employs a dual AI chip architecture with a dedicated imaging chip and a 4nm flagship chip, enabling on-device image processing.
Supports up to 2x lossless zoom and 4x high-resolution zoom. The 4x high-resolution zoom utilizes AI-powered image quality correction.
Designed for short video production, it supports 4K 30fps vertical video and 6K oversampling.
For video recording, it supports 8K Dolby Vision, 4K 120fps, and 1080p 240fps slow-motion recording. For still photography, it supports 37MP UltraPhoto. It also features a 4K Live Frame photo function, allowing users to apply beauty mode effects and filters to photos while recording live video.
3-axis gimbal and smart shooting function
The Luna Pro features 3-axis gimbal image stabilization, which helps reduce camera shake when shooting while walking.
It also supports AI-powered Deep Track and high-speed focusing. Deep Track 5.0 supports automatic tracking, group tracking, and smart framing.
It features a 1,550mAh battery, allowing for up to 4 hours of shooting. It also supports PD fast charging and has 47GB of internal storage.
A key feature of the Luna series, according to the company, is the industry’s first detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen.
It supports remote monitoring and operation with HD video transmission up to 20m, allowing you to view and shoot footage even from a distance. It also supports direct connection with the Insta360 Mic series.
Diverse shooting and editing functions on the Insta360 Luna Pro
The Luna Pro features a sliding motion to start recording, as well as a twisting motion to begin shooting. It also supports POV shooting with a POV head tracker. Additionally, includes Leica color profiles such as Leica Natural, Leica Vivid, and Leica Chrome.
It features cinematic filters, supports 10-bit I-Log recording, and allows for color correction in post-production. It also supports the ACES workflow.
In addition to AI-powered editing features, it supports multi-camera synchronization and editing workflows using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro thanks to its built-in timecode function.
The product will be available in two colors: “Cosmic Black” and “Stella White”.
