Nikon announced the upcoming release of four accessories designed with ease of use and portability in mind during shooting. The lineup includes a rain cover made of highly water-repellent and breathable material, a strap featuring a wild bird motif, shooting gloves that allow the fingertips to be exposed, and an aluminum square hood.
The release dates are November 13th, 2026 (Friday) for the “Rain Cover Professional NRC-03” (L/S) and “Bird Strap Akagera” (Wide/Slim), and November 19th, 2026 (Thursday) for the “Photographer’s Inner Glove NPG004” (L/M) and “Square Hood HN-OG01”. Pre-orders for all items will begin on November 5th, 2026 (Thursday) at 10:00 AM.

Rain Cover Professional NRC-03
This rain cover is designed for Nikon’s high-end “Z Series” mirrorless cameras. The cover itself uses a Japanese-made, highly water-repellent and highly breathable material * manufactured by Printec One . It repels rain and water droplets while suppressing stuffiness inside the cover, making it suitable for shooting in rainy weather.
*Features a breathable waterproof coating, providing water pressure resistance of 8,000mm and moisture permeability of 8,000g/m²/24 hours.
The eyecup area is made of tear-resistant and stretchable silicone rubber. This makes it easy to attach and detach from the camera, and accommodates various shooting styles, from handheld shooting to tripod shooting.
Two sizes are available: L and S. You can choose the size that best suits your camera and lens combination. Nikon recommends the L size when using a teleconverter. The fit may vary depending on the camera body, lens hood, and whether or not a teleconverter is attached.
The included “ND Rain Cover Eyecup DK-33” is a special product compatible with the Z9, Z8, and Zf, and is a different product from the standard “Eyepiece Cup DK-33”.

Bird strap, Great Spotted Woodpecker (Black)
These accessories are a jacquard woven strap incorporating the red and black color scheme of the Great Spotted Woodpecker with the Nikon logo in the middle.. The lineup includes a wide type primarily for cameras and a slim type for binoculars.
The wide version is approximately 45mm wide, and the slim version is approximately 35mm wide. The lengths of the two straps are adjusted so that they do not interfere with each other when carrying a camera and binoculars at the same time. Made of polyester, the straps can support up to approximately 5kg of camera body and lens combined.

Photographer’s Inner Gloves NPG004
These photography gloves are made from a thin, stretchy material, making them suitable for camera operation and detailed work. The inside features a brushed material on the back of the hand and fleece material on the palm, providing both warmth and a comfortable fit.
The thumb and index finger are designed to allow the fingertips to be exposed when needed. This allows you to directly operate the shutter button, dials, and other controls with your fingertips while wearing the gloves.
In addition to supporting touch panel operation, it also features anti-slip and water-repellent coatings. It is designed for use in situations where precise operation is required while protecting your hands, such as outdoor photography in winter.

Square Hood HN-OG01
This aluminum square lens hood is designed for the “NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2” and “NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8” lenses. Its angular form and metallic texture combine to create a design that harmonizes with the appearance of the lens and camera.
In addition to the standard model, it is also compatible with the “NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 (SE)” and “NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (Special Edition)”. It can also be used with the “ARCREST II PROTECTION FILTER 52mm” lens protection filter attached.
The hood and ring are made of aluminum, and the O-ring is made of silicone. Weighing approximately 50g, it is an accessory that enhances the design of the lens and camera while maintaining a metallic appearance.
