Vision Research today announced the Phantom T2110, a high-speed camera with a custom 1 Megapixel (Mpx), backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor. Ideal for many scientific applications including motion analysis and combustion, the Phantom T2110 captures over 21,000 fps at full resolution and up to 483,330 fps at 640×64.
The versatile Phantom T2110 is equipped with a unique 12-bit 1280×800 BSI sensor, which offers advantages such as 84.3QExFF (mono) and 40dB SNR (signal-to-noise ratio), delivering superior imaging performance even under challenging conditions. The camera’s sensor architecture also delivers an image throughput of 21 gigapixels per second (Gpx/s).
The T2110 offers several options to allow users to configure the camera to meet their specific application needs, including a UV extended sensor, a CineMag interface, a FAST option with exposure times of 190 nanoseconds (ns), and up to 256GB RAM.
Alternatively, Image Based Auto-Triggering (IBAT) can be used for a fully automated workflow combining multi-cine partitions with continuous recording.Programmable I/O supports applications requiring advanced synchronization and interfacing to data acquisition (DAQ) systems or measurement sensors.
