2ndfocus and AstrHori AF 27mm F2.8 C Interchangeable Lens Released

2ndfocus, operated by E&I Creation, released the AstrHori interchangeable lens, the “AF 27mm F2.8 C.” 

The AstrHori AF 27mm F2.8 STM is a prime lens for Nikon Z mount compatible with APS-C sensors, featuring a retro design and a lightweight, compact metal body weighing 165g, providing excellent usability and durability. The classic style of the lens makes it more enjoyable to shoot in everyday life or when traveling.

In addition, the focal length of 27mm (equivalent to 40.5mm in 35mm format) makes it useful for a variety of scenes, including street snaps and landscape photography. Equipped with an STM (stepping motor), it enables quiet and smooth autofocus. It supports not only normal photography, but also eye AF and video recording, so you can capture important moments with confidence.

With a minimum shooting distance of 0.3m, it is possible to take close-up shots that cut out a large part of the subject. It is suitable for shooting still objects such as small items and flowers, as well as portraits that boldly cut out the model’s expression. In addition, with a bright aperture value of F2.8, it suppresses noise even in dark places such as indoors or at night, and reduces subject blur and camera shake.

The mount also has a USB port, so you can connect it to a PC and upgrade the firmware.
